Presenter Biography:

Dr. Leon Klempner is the CEO of People & Practice LLC, an online marketing consultancy for dental professionals that builds the online credibility and reputation management for doctors through social media. Dr. Klempner represents dental practices throughout the US and Canada.  Dr. Klempner also serves on the executive board of the New York State Society of Orthodontists, is a board-certified orthodontist and has been in private practice for over 38 years. He graduated dental school from the University of Maryland and his received his certification in Orthodontics from Tufts University. Dr. Klempner is on the teaching faculty of two dental schools, and has lectured both nationally and internationally on the subject of social media marketing and clinical orthodontic treatment. His content has been published in the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics, the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, and in both Orthodontic Products and OrthoTown magazines.

 

 

Course Title: Applications of Bone Cement in Guided Bone Regeneration 

Presenter: Dr. Michael Katzap

Course Time: 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM EST

Course Description:

The lecture will cover a brief history of bone cement, its adaptation to dentistry and uses of bone cement in various clinical situations that include socket grafting, ridge augmentation and uses before and during implant surgery. The use of bone cement in dentistry allows the clinician to predictably achieve bone. The unique application of bone cement is quick for the clinician, beneficial for the patient and brings additional value to the practice.

Presenter Biography:

Dr. Michael Katzap is a master of the academy of general dentistry, a fellow of the American academy of implant dentistry and a diplomate of the American board of oral implantology/implant dentistry and the international college of oral implantology. He is the former director of the Brookdale hospital oral implantology fellowship and has been in private practice in Rego park queens since 1999. Dr. Katzap’s practice focuses on implantology and he has lectured on implant dentistry at the greater New York dental meeting, nationally and internationally.
