Course Description:

Failing teeth – when is it time to say goodbye?  Challenges of single tooth and multiple-teeth site failure.  Dental Implants success today is not only judged by osseointegration but also by bone, tissue stability, long term esthetic results and of course the versatility of an implant system for restorative considerations in correcting failures.

 

Presenter Biography:

Angelo Ostuni, DDS MD, is a board certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon.  He is a graduate of Columbia University’s College of Dental Medicine and completed a six-year Oral Surgery program at the New York Presbyterian Hospital (Columbia University Campus).

He completed his residency in 2008 and served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Columbia University until 2009.  Dr. Ostuni continued training in Italy as a surgical research Fellow at the European Institute of Oncology in Milan and worked as a surgeon at Ostuni MD – Center for Plastic Surgery in the beautiful region of Puglia in southern Italy.  He returned to New York in 2013 as an associate surgeon in a multi-doctor group practice.  In 2015 opened his own practice, Carnegie Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, in midtown Manhattan.
