Course Description:
Mobile technology is reshaping the world we live in. According to the Pew Research Center in the 2nd quarter of 2015, close to 2 billion mobile users use their devices to search for products and services, social media and for interaction. Is your dental practice or clinic taking advantage of this trend? This presentation will address using mobile technology to increase patient engagement, further patient education, increase recall appointments, improve collection rates, offer new products and use social media to benefit your practice. The discussion will also touch on using the mobile app to improve search engine rankings for your website and basic things that Google looks for to rank your website higher.
Presenter Biography:
Peter Outar is the President of Novel App Solutions, a boutique mobile app and web development firm in Queens NY. Peter is a graduate of Pace University with a major in Information Systems. He spent close to 30 years in the financial services industry as a Project Manager working as either an employee or consultant for firms such as Metlife, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, AIG and others running large scale projects in the Operations areas.

Course Description:
Oral appliance therapy is becoming a popular therapy for sleep apnea patients. There are many courses on dental sleep medicine and how to make an oral appliance. The best way to treat this condition is with a collaborative multidisciplinary approach. In this lecture, we will show how to screen for sleep apnea, work with physicians, and understand sleep studies. Dr. Lown, a sleep physician, and Dr. Feigenbaum, a sleep dentist will lead the discussion.
