Course Title:  Estate Planning for Dentists 

Presenter: Paresh Shah & Leonard Cohen 

Course Time: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM EST

Course Description:

Estate Planning is normally associated with those who have considerable wealth. However, it is seen time and time again that Estate Planning is for everyone that has family and some wealth.

In this hour, we will explore simple and complex strategies to help plan for today and for the future. We will talk start with Wills, Health Care Proxy and Power of Attorney and go through various strategies to end with Slit Interest Trusts.

Paresh Shah and Len Cohen are not attorneys and will be going through all of these from a Financial Planners perspective.

 

Presenter Biography:

Paresh Shah is a Wealth Strategist for the past 17 years helping individuals and businesses across the US to co-create and innovative financial strategies that protect for today and build for tomorrow.He is a licensed CPE presenter, educating CPAs as they guide their clients on Investments, Life, Disability and Long-Term Care Insurance. He specializes in Pension & Profit Sharing Plans, Asset Protection, Estate Planning and Business Succession Planning. Paresh is also the co-host and speaker of a new talk show “Your Money – Your Taxes” for the South Asian channel – ITV. Long Island Business News awarded Paresh “2016 Honoree – Diversity in Business Award”.Paresh is a member of the New York City Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and for the past 9 years a member of the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table including 4 years qualification to Court of the Table.

Len Cohen graduated in 1980 from the State University of New York at Stony Brook with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry certified by the American Chemical Society. In 1983 he began a twenty-five year career in the pharmaceutical industry specializing in oncology as an office representative, hospital representative, research liaison and product manager. In 1986, he achieved a dual MBA in Marketing Management/General Management from Pace University.

Len enjoys working with healthcare professionals.  He has been part of Forest Hills Financial Group since 2009.  He is always striving to provide the same level of ethical service that he would expect for himself, and goes the extra mile to provide his clients with extraordinary service and follow-up on their behalf.

 

 

Course Title:  TMJ Disorders: Recognizing and Managing Them Optimally 

Presenter: Dr. Brijesh Chandwani 

Course Time: 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM EST

Course Description:

The course will cover classification, diagnostics and red/yellow flags for different facial pain conditions. The audience will also learn which disorders should be treated and managed and which ones should be referred to a specialist.

Presenter Biography:

Dr. Chandwani has more than 10 years of experience which is focused on TMJ disorders and sleep disorders. He is a residency trained TMJ specialist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain. He did his Acupuncture training at the Harvard Medical School and his TMJ training at Tufts University. He maintains a private practice in New York and Connecticut.
