Course Title:  Winning the Insurance Game

Presenter: Leah Lochner

Course Time: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM EST

Course Description:
Proper Coding
You will be able to implement systems for all providers by verifying end-of-day sheets. You will know how to flag and train your team to look for and bill the “problem codes,” and you will take away some ins and outs of dental/medical cross-coding and how it is slowly inching its way into the dental industry. You can begin to prepare your practice for the future and how the medical world will intertwine with the dental.
Financial Accountability
You will be able to understand and set up strict systems for insurance verifications and re-verifications. We will show you how to implement strong systems in your practice and with your team on how and when to work the aging reports, giving you faster reimbursement. You will take away key elements of how accurate and detailed documentation can eliminate claim errors and rejections, and keep you away from any potential insurance fraud.
The Game
You will be able to implement systems for your practice and your team on how and when to appeal claim denials, knowing how exactly the insurance works and how to work it to your favor. You will be able to better manage and choose what insurance carrier is right for your practice and your patients.
