Course Description:

Oral appliance therapy is becoming a popular therapy for sleep apnea patients. There are many courses on dental sleep medicine and how to make an oral appliance. The best way to treat this condition is with a collaborative multidisciplinary approach. In this lecture, we will show how to screen for sleep apnea, work with physicians, and understand sleep studies. Dr. Lown, a sleep physician, and Dr. Feigenbaum, a sleep dentist will lead the discussion on the following topics.
