Course Title:  Optimal Solutions for Achieving the Esthetic Restoration In the Atrophic Anterior Maxilla

Presenter: Dr. Ted Korin

Course Date: September 23, 2017 (Saturday)

Course Time: 8:45 AM – 11:15 AM EST

Course Description:

The “team approach” and “prosthetically driven implant restoration” have been the focal point of many implant presentations. Now more than ever, with the use of computers and CT scans, treatment can be prosthetically driven. When abundant quantity and quality of bone is present, computer generated stents make life easy in terms of implant placement and prosthetic success. Treatment of the atrophic maxilla is by far the most challenging area to restore. During the discussion, various grafting techniques will be reviewed to ensure adequate quality and quantity of alveolar bone. Provisionalization of the grafted case with transitional implants will be shown. Emphasis will be placed on utilization of the Nobel Biocare Procera software for fabrication of the maxillary NobelGuide surgical template and immediate loading the fixtures. A comprehensive step by step plan will be reviewed for restoring the full maxillary arch dentition using NobelGuide protocol.

  1. Radiographic interpretation.
  2. Computer placement using Nobel Biocare Procera software system.
  3. Fabrication of the NobelGuide surgical stent.
  4. Surgical placement of dental implants.
  5. Abutment selection.
  6. Provisionalization and immediate loading.
  7. Master impressions.
  8. Fabrication of final metal and zirconia restoration
